The Quaid-e-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Pakistan’s founder, was the progenitor of close relations with Iran and had appointed one of his trusted lieutenants, Raja Ghazanfar Ali Khan, as Pakistan’s first ambassador to Iran.
